Laura Rellihan is a registered dietitian/Licensed Nutritionist and the founder of private nutrition practice, Back To Balance, Inc. Laura graduated from University of Florida and completed her dietetic residency through the Bay Pines Veterans Health Care System.

Laura has experience counseling patients in the clinical and outpatient setting in multiple areas of nutrition including pediatric and adult weight management, autoimmune conditions, kidney disease, diabetes, cancer, enteral and parental nutrition, celiac disease, cardiovascular disease, digestive and thyroid disorders, and prenatal/postnatal nutrition.

Laura’s strong interest in nutrition and a healthy lifestyle started at a very young age, when Laura was diagnosed with systemic lupus erythematosus. Systemic lupus is a chronic autoimmune disorder affecting various organs of the body. After years of chemo therapy and other harsh medications, Laura realized that without good nutrition, her quality of life and health would not allow her to do the daily activities she enjoyed. Not only does Laura enjoy seeing her clients and families achieve success in attaining their nutrition and health goals, but her personal background, has assisted her in better understanding her clients personal struggles.

In her free time, Laura enjoys spending time with her family, training and competing in triathlons, backpacking with her husband, and especially loves creating new healthy recipes in the kitchen.
